Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
  2. Beat in the eggs and lemon zest until combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour and dry ingredients, then gradually add to wet ingredients.
  4. Gently fold in chopped strawberries.
  5. Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  7. Drop tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheet, spacing 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
