Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat and prepare by lining a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Open each medjool date by carefully slitting them down the center and removing any pits.
  3. Smash the opened dates down to about 1/2 inch thick using a fork or fingers.
  4. Spread a layer of creamy peanut butter generously over each smashed date.
  5. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals until smooth.
  6. Drizzle the melted chocolate over each date generously.
  7. Chill the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes until the chocolate is set.
  8. Finish by sprinkling flaky salt on top before serving.
