Cooking Steps
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Slice the cabbage into ½ inch thick rounds and brush both sides with olive oil.
- In a medium bowl, mix the ground meat with onion, garlic, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, Worcestershire sauce, and optional egg.
- Form the mixture into patties that fit on the cabbage rounds and place each patty on top of its corresponding cabbage slice.
- Bake for about 25 minutes until the cabbage is golden and the patties are well-cooked.
- If using cheese, add it on top of each patty and broil for 3 to 5 minutes until melted and golden.
- Sprinkle fresh parsley on top and serve hot with dipping sauces or a fresh salad.
