  • 1 lb Ground Beef substitute with ground turkey or chicken
  • 4 cups Cabbage any variety works well
  • 1 cup Shiitake Mushrooms or use button or portobello mushrooms
  • 4 stalks Green Onions or chives
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce or tamari for gluten-free
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame Oil olive or avocado oil can be used
  • 3 cloves Garlic fresh minced or powdered
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger or ground ginger

Cooking Steps
  1. Prep vegetables by washing and chopping the cabbage, shiitake mushrooms, and green onions.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat a drizzle of oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned.
  3. When the beef is cooked, stir in minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  4. Add chopped cabbage and shiitake mushrooms to the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes.
  5. Pour soy sauce and sesame oil over the mixture, tossing to combine and cook for an extra minute.
  6. Transfer to a serving dish, garnishing with chopped green onions.
