Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat for 8-10 minutes until browned. Set aside.
  2. Flatten each slice of sandwich bread to about ¼ inch thick with a rolling pin.
  3. Place a cooked sausage link at one end of each flattened bread slice and roll it up tightly.
  4. Prepare the egg mixture by whisking eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon in a shallow dish.
  5. In the skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Dip each roll-up into the egg mixture and then place seam-side down in the skillet.
  6. Cook for 2-3 minutes until golden brown, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  7. Transfer roll-ups to a serving plate, dust with powdered sugar, and drizzle with maple syrup.
