Preparation Steps
- Wash the salad cucumber thoroughly under cool running water. If desired, peel the cucumber for a sleek presentation. Once clean, slice it into small chunks or rings and set aside in a mixing bowl.
- In the mixing bowl with the chopped cucumber, add the sugar and fresh mint leaves. Using a muddler or the back of a spoon, gently press the mixture together for around 30 seconds to release the juices and aromatic oils without over-muddling.
- Squeeze freshly squeezed lemon juice into the muddled cucumber mixture and sprinkle in a pinch of Himalayan rock salt. Stir everything gently with a spoon to combine the ingredients.
- Pour 3 cups of water into the mixing bowl. Mix the ingredients well to create a deliciously hydrating base for your Cucumber Mint Cooler.
- Taste your mixture and adjust the sweetness or acidity by adding more sugar, honey, or lemon juice according to your preference.
- Fill tall glasses with ice cubes, pour the Cucumber Mint Cooler mixture over the ice, and garnish with fresh cucumber rings and mint leaves.
