- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken for 6–7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through (165°F / 75°C).
- Remove chicken from the skillet and let it rest for five minutes. Slice the chicken into strips.
- Arrange flatbreads on a baking sheet. Spread basil pesto over each flatbread.
- Layer sliced chicken on top of the pesto-covered flatbreads.
