Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and prepare an 8-inch square pan with parchment paper or grease it.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, oats, dark brown sugar, and sliced almonds. Blend in softened unsalted butter until crumbly.
  3. Press half of the crumble mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan and bake for 15 minutes until setting and lightly golden.
  4. Toss peaches and raspberries with lemon juice and vanilla. Combine flour, granulated sugar, and salt, then sprinkle over the fruit.
  5. Spread the fruit mixture evenly over the baked crust, then crumble the remaining mixture on top.
  6. Bake for an additional 35-40 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
  7. Let the bars cool completely before slicing into squares or rectangles.
