Preparation

  2. Cook sausage in a skillet over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until browned. Drain fat and sprinkle sausage over croissant pieces.
  3. Whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper in a large bowl until smooth.
  4. Pour egg mixture over croissants and sausage, pressing down gently to soak. Cover tightly and refrigerate overnight.
  5. Uncover and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30-45 minutes until puffed and golden. Check with a toothpick for doneness.
  6. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving with fresh fruit or salad.
