  • 2 sheets Refrigerated Pie Crusts homemade for nostalgia

  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Paprika for smokiness

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a standard 12-cup muffin tin.
  2. Roll out the pie crusts and cut out circles larger than the muffin cups, press them into the greased muffin tin.
  3. In a skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat until beef is browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add garlic, Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, salt, pepper, and paprika. Simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Stir in frozen mixed vegetables and heat through, about 3 minutes.
  6. Spoon the mixture into the crusts, top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  7. Cut smaller circles from the remaining crust for tops, seal the edges and cut slits for steam.
  8. Brush tops with egg wash, bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from the tin and serve warm.
