Preparation Steps
  1. Prepare the Aloo Tikki Mixture: In a bowl, combine the potatoes, green peas, spices, and ginger garlic paste until it forms a dough-like texture.
  2. Incorporate Binding Ingredients: Fold in poha and let the mixture rest for 10 minutes.
  3. Create the Coating Batter: Whisk maida, corn flour, spices, and water to create a thick batter.
  4. Shape the Aloo Tikki Patties: Form the potato mixture into patties, about ½ inch thick.
  5. Coat the Patties for Frying: Dip the patties in batter and coat with breadcrumbs.
  6. Fry the Patties: Heat oil and fry patties until golden brown on both sides.
  7. Assemble the Burgers: Spread burger sauce on buns and layer with lettuce, patties, tomato, and onion.
