  • 1 cup Smoky BBQ Sauce Choose a tangy variety
  • 1 medium Onion Diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
For the Coleslaw
  • 4 cups Shredded Cabbage Green or purple based on preference
  • 1/2 cup Vegan Mayonnaise Can substitute with cashew cream
  • 2 tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar Adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard For flavor
  • 1 tablespoon Sweetener (optional) Maple syrup or agave
For the Assembly
  • 4 buns Slider Buns Vegan preferred

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Drain and rinse young green jackfruit. Shred into strands resembling pulled pork.
  2. Heat oil in a skillet. Sauté diced onion until translucent, then add minced garlic.
  3. Add shredded jackfruit and BBQ sauce to skillet. Simmer covered for 20-40 minutes.
  4. Mix coleslaw ingredients in a bowl and refrigerate.
  5. Toast slider buns until lightly golden.
  6. Assemble sliders with jackfruit mixture and coleslaw.
