Preparation

  2. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape into patties, about ½ inch thick.
  3. Preheat grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Lightly oil and cook patties for 5-7 minutes on each side until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  4. While patties are cooking, prepare the chipotle mayo by whisking together mayonnaise, chipotle pepper, lime juice, garlic powder, and salt.
  5. Assemble burgers by spreading chipotle mayo on buns and layering with lettuce, the grilled chicken patty, tomato slices, onions, and jalapeños.
