Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Sauté finely diced onions, garlic, carrots, and peas in a skillet over medium heat for about 5 minutes.
- Add ground beef or lamb and cook until browned, about 7–10 minutes.
- Pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, stir, and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cooked potatoes, butter, and milk, mashing until smooth.
- Assemble the cups by filling phyllo cups with filling, then top with mashed potatoes and optional cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15–20 minutes until golden brown.
- Sprinkle with fresh herbs before serving.
