Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Cheese Bread
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the bread flour, kosher salt, and instant yeast. Gradually pour in warm water, mixing until dough is cohesive and sticky. Cover with a damp cloth and let rise for 2-3 hours.
- Preheat your oven to 240°C (450°F) about 30 minutes before baking. Place a heavy oven-safe pot inside to heat up.
- Once risen, flour a clean surface, scrape out dough, flatten it, and sprinkle half of the grated cheese on top. Fold edges inward until you form a compact ball.
- Transfer the dough onto parchment paper, shape into a ball, and sprinkle reserved cheese on top.
- Place the dough in the preheated pot, cover with the lid, and bake for 35 minutes. Remove lid and bake for an additional 10 minutes until golden.
- Transfer to a cooling rack and let rest for at least 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes
Use freshly grated cheese for better melting and avoid overmixing the dough for best texture.
