Step-by-Step Instructions for Banana Split Trifle
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare the yellow cake mix according to package instructions and bake for 25–30 minutes.
  2. Once cooled, cut the cake into bite-sized cubes about 1-inch in size.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together pudding mix and milk for about 2 minutes, then refrigerate for 5 minutes.
  4. Layer ⅓ of the cake cubes in a trifle dish and pour ⅓ of the pudding over them.
  5. Add a layer of well-drained crushed pineapple, followed by half of the remaining cake cubes and pudding.
