For the Matcha Mixture
  • 1 tablespoon matcha powder sifted
  • 1 cup cold water non-boiling
For the Drink Assembly

  • 1 cup almond milk or oat milk, regular milk

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Wash and hull 1 cup of fresh strawberries and chop them into small pieces. Combine with sweetener in a bowl and let sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Sift 1 tablespoon of matcha powder into a separate bowl and whisk in 1 cup of hot water until fully dissolved.
  3. Layer macerated strawberries at the bottom of a clear glass, then fill with ice cubes until two-thirds full.
  4. Pour in almond milk or your choice of milk until almost full, leaving space for matcha.
  5. Gently pour the whisked matcha over the milk layer, creating a striking visual effect.
  6. Serve immediately for the best freshness. Enjoy your drink with a reusable straw if desired.
