  • 2 tablespoons hot water Around 175°F
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based) Coconut milk adds tropical twist
  • 1-2 teaspoons honey Adjust to taste
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • as needed ice cubes Chills the drink

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a small bowl, add matcha powder. Gradually whisk in hot water using a whisk or frother for about 30 seconds until smooth and frothy.
  2. Add honey and vanilla extract into your whisked matcha. Stir gently for 15-20 seconds until blended.
  3. Fill a tall glass to the brim with ice cubes, ensuring the glass is chilled.
  4. Pour the prepared matcha mixture over the ice, allowing it to cascade beautifully.
  5. Pour milk over the top of the iced matcha mixture. Stir gently to combine the ingredients.
