  • 1 pound Shrimp, peeled and deveined 20-25 or 16-20 count, can swap with chicken or tofu
  • 2 slices Pineapple, cut into ½ inch pieces adds natural sweetness and juiciness
For the Marinade
  • ½ cup Jerk Marinade a blend of allspice and herbs

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Combine shrimp with half of the jerk marinade in a medium bowl. Coat evenly and marinate for at least 20 minutes in the refrigerator.
  2. While the shrimp is marinating, cut the pineapple into ½ inch pieces and soak wooden skewers in water for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat (around 400°F). Oil the grates to prevent sticking.
  4. Place skewers on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until shrimp is opaque and firm.
  5. Remove from grill, let cool, and serve as is or remove from skewers.
