Step-by-Step Instructions for Frito Bars
  1. Generously grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with butter.
  2. Spread Frito corn chips evenly across the bottom of the baking dish. Sprinkle semi-sweet chocolate chips over the Fritos.
  3. Combine granulated sugar and light corn syrup in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute, then stir in creamy peanut butter.
  4. Drizzle half the peanut butter mixture over the Fritos, then add remaining chips and drizzle the rest of the mixture on top.
  5. Place the bars in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to set.
