  • 2 cups Cherry Tomatoes Any ripe tomato can work in a pinch.
  • 1 small Sweet Onion Can substitute with red onion or scallions.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Fresh garlic; substitute with powder if necessary.
  • 1/4 cup Cilantro Leaves Substitute with parsley if desired.
  • 1 tablespoon Lime Juice Freshly squeezed is ideal.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste.
Optional for Heat
  • 1 medium Jalapeño Adjust based on spice preference.

Preparation Steps
  1. Wash cherry tomatoes and remove stems. Peel garlic and onion, and slice them for easier chopping.
  2. In a food processor, add chopped garlic and onion. Pulse for 10-15 seconds until finely chopped.
  3. Add cherry tomatoes and cilantro to the processor. Pulse for 15-20 seconds until chunky.
  4. Transfer mixture to a bowl, squeeze fresh lime juice, add salt, and stir to combine.
  5. Serve immediately with tortilla chips or let chill in the fridge for 30 minutes.
