- In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of warm water and 2 teaspoons of instant yeast. Allow to sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
- Add 3 cups of all-purpose flour, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 2 cloves of minced garlic. Mix until a soft dough forms.
- Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 5 to 7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the kneaded dough into a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let rise in a warm area for 1 hour.
- After the dough has risen, punch it down and transfer to a greased baking sheet. Stretch and shape to fit the pan.
