- In a mixing bowl, combine 8 oz of softened cream cheese, ¼ cup of granulated sugar, and 1 tsp of vanilla extract. Blend until smooth and creamy. Set aside.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a clean surface and separate into triangles. Place a spoonful of cream cheese filling at the wide end and roll up into a crescent.
- Melt 2 tbsp of salted butter and brush the tops of the assembled danishes.
- Sprinkle 8 tbsp of light brown sugar evenly over the tops of the rolled danishes.
- Bake the danishes for 15-18 minutes, or until golden and puffed up.
- Prepare the glaze by whisking together ½ cup of powdered sugar, 4 tsp of milk, and 1 tsp of vanilla extract until smooth.
