  • 1 package Pizza Dough Pre-made or homemade
Filling
  • 8 oz Mozzarella Cheese Shredded; can substitute with provolone
  • 6 oz Ham Can substitute with turkey or roast beef
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese Optional for sprinkling
Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Oregano Can substitute with Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder Can substitute with fresh minced garlic
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
Glaze
  • 1 large Egg Beaten for brushing
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Allow the pizza dough to rest for about 10 minutes.
Assembly
  1. Roll out the dough into a rectangle measuring approximately 10x14 inches.
  2. Brush a thin layer of olive oil over the dough.
  3. Layer slices of ham and mozzarella cheese evenly on the dough.
  4. Sprinkle with garlic powder, oregano, salt, pepper, and Parmesan cheese if desired.
  5. Roll the dough tightly around the filling and pinch the seams to seal.
  6. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet, brush the top with a beaten egg.
  7. Cut shallow vents across the top to allow steam to escape.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool for about 10 minutes before slicing.
