Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Allow the pizza dough to rest for about 10 minutes.
Assembly
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle measuring approximately 10x14 inches.
- Brush a thin layer of olive oil over the dough.
- Layer slices of ham and mozzarella cheese evenly on the dough.
- Sprinkle with garlic powder, oregano, salt, pepper, and Parmesan cheese if desired.
- Roll the dough tightly around the filling and pinch the seams to seal.
- Place seam-side down on the baking sheet, brush the top with a beaten egg.
- Cut shallow vents across the top to allow steam to escape.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
- Allow to cool for about 10 minutes before slicing.
