- In a large skillet, heat over medium heat, add ground beef or turkey, and cook until browned, about 7-10 minutes. Add taco seasoning and simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- While the meat is cooking, wash and chop lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Dice the tomatoes and slice the onion, then add to the bowl with the lettuce.
- Once the meat is cooked, incorporate it into the mixing bowl with the veggies. Crush Doritos and sprinkle on top.
- Add shredded cheese, sour cream, and salsa on top as per preference.
- Lightly toss the salad just before serving to keep the Doritos crispy.
