Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together 1 cup of unsalted butter, ½ cup of white sugar, and ½ cup of brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add 1 egg and the zest of 2 key limes, mixing until well combined.
  4. Whisk together 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, and ½ teaspoon of kosher salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
