- Begin by boiling 1 cup of water in a saucepan. Once boiling, remove it from heat and stir in the grape Jello mix until completely dissolved, about 2 minutes.
- Add 1 cup of cold water to the mixture and stir well to combine, ensuring a smooth consistency.
- If you’re using alcohol, pour in 1.5 cups of sour berry liqueur, or opt for grape soda for the non-alcoholic version. Mix thoroughly for about a minute until the liquid is even and well-blended.
- Carefully pour the jello mixture into each cup, filling them about three-quarters full.
- Place them in the refrigerator to set for about 4 hours, or until they have a firm jelly-like consistency.
- Remove the cups from the fridge and carefully top each shot with a generous spoonful of purple popping boba.
- Add optional googly candy eyes atop each cup to complete the look.
