For the Tacos
  • 4 tortillas use corn for gluten-free or flour for softer
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage red cabbage for color contrast
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes cherry tomatoes work well
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro omit if not a fan
  • 1 whole lime for garnish and in crema
For the Lime Crema
  • 1/2 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise or avocado mayo
  • 1 tbsp lime juice fresh is best
  • 1 tbsp lime zest
  • a pinch salt adjust as needed

Step-by-Step Instructions for Fish Tacos Lime Crema
  1. In a medium bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, lime juice, lime zest, and a pinch of salt. Whisk until smooth and creamy. Set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Pat fish dry and rub spice mixture over each side.
