Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat for about 1-2 minutes.
  2. Add 1 diced onion, 1 diced green bell pepper, and 1 diced red bell pepper. Sauté for about 5 minutes until softened.
  3. Increase heat to medium-high and add 1 pound of ground beef. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Drain excess fat from the skillet and return the mixture to heat.
  5. Stir in 3 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of salt, and black pepper to taste. Cook for about 2 minutes.
  6. Serve over 1 cup of cooked rice or quinoa, and enjoy!
