Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Gather your baking equipment.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine cake mix, eggs, oil, and water. Mix until smooth.
  3. Pour the mixture into the prepared cake pan and spread evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
  4. Once baked, let the cake cool for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  5. Crumble the cooled cake into fine pieces in a large bowl.
  6. Mix in 1/2 cup of frosting until the mixture holds together without being sticky.
  7. Shape small portions into heart forms and place on a lined baking sheet. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  8. Melt candy melts with coconut oil in a microwave, stirring until smooth.
  9. Dip each lollipop stick in the melted candy, insert it into a heart, and then coat the heart.
  10. Decorate with sprinkles before the coating sets. Place upright to dry.
