Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Gather your ingredients for the Cuban Chopped Grinder Burger. Chop onions and bell peppers into bite-sized pieces. Season the ground beef with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper; mix thoroughly.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the seasoned ground beef. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, breaking it apart with a spatula until it's golden brown. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add chopped onions and bell peppers to the skillet. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened and slightly caramelized.
  4. Slice the sub rolls lengthwise, leaving one side attached. Layer the cooked ground beef and sautéed veggies inside each roll. Top with cheese slices.
  5. Preheat the grill or air fryer to 375°F. Cook the assembled sandwiches for 5-7 minutes until cheese melts and bread crisps. Watch for a golden color.
  6. Cut the Cuban Chopped Grinder Burgers in half and serve hot. Enjoy with a side of homemade fries or salad.
