Method

Instructions
  1. Begin by rinsing and trimming the fresh green beans, ensuring they are about the same size for even cooking. Pat them completely dry with a paper towel to avoid sogginess.
  2. Gather three bowls: one for all-purpose flour, another for beaten eggs, and the final one for a seasoned panko mixture.
  3. Take a handful of the dried green beans and dip them into the flour, making sure they are completely coated. Transfer to the bowl of beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off. Finally, roll in the panko mixture, pressing gently.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes and lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  5. Carefully arrange the coated green beans in a single layer inside the air fryer basket to avoid overcrowding.
  6. Cook the green bean fries for about 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even browning.
  7. While the fries are cooking, mix together mayonnaise, sour cream, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a small bowl until smooth and creamy.
  8. Once the green bean fries are crispy, remove them from the air fryer and let them cool slightly. Serve hot alongside the creamy garlic dipping sauce.
