Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine finely grated sharp cheddar cheese, all-purpose flour, and salt. Cut in cold unsalted butter until mixtures resembles coarse crumbs. Gradually add water, mixing until dough forms a ball.
  2. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Lightly flour your work surface and roll out the dough to about 1/8-inch thickness. Cut the dough into desired shapes.
  4. Dock each cracker with a fork to prevent puffiness during baking.
  5. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C). Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Remove crackers from oven and cool on a wire rack.
