Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Start by draining and rinsing a can of chick peas under cool water to remove excess sodium. Transfer them into a food processor.
  2. Add tahini, chopped dill pickles, dill pickle juice, freshly squeezed lemon juice, garlic cloves, and fresh dill into the food processor. Sprinkle in salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Secure the lid on your food processor and blend all the ingredients on high speed for about 1 minute, scraping down the sides as needed.
  4. Once the hummus reaches a smooth consistency, taste it to see if it needs more salt or pepper. Blend again if adjusting flavors.
  5. Transfer the hummus into an airtight container and refrigerate it for at least 1 hour to enhance flavors.
  6. After chilling, gently stir the hummus before serving. Garnish with extra dill or pickle slices.
