Preparation Steps
  1. Zest three oranges and juice them to achieve about 3/4 cup of juice.
  2. In a medium saucepan, mix orange juice, water, granulated sugar, and corn syrup over medium heat until dissolved.
  3. Allow the mixture to boil for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Sprinkle gelatin over cold water and let it bloom for about 5 minutes.
  5. Add bloomed gelatin to the syrup and stir until fully dissolved.
  6. Stir in orange zest and butter; cook for an additional 5-10 minutes.
  7. Pour the mixture into a greased 8x8-inch dish and let cool for 1-2 hours.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for 4-6 hours until set.
  9. Dust with confectioners’ sugar and cut into pieces.
