  2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Spread a layer of the cream cheese filling on each slice of bread, leaving a small border.
  4. Starting from one edge, tightly roll each slice of bread with the filling inside, tucking in the ends as you go.
  5. In a shallow bowl, mix together granulated sugar and ground cinnamon.
  6. In another bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and a splash of vanilla extract until frothy.
  7. Place a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add butter, allowing it to melt.
  8. Dip each rolled-up slice into the egg mixture, then roll in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until covered.
