Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Gather your ingredients while the oven warms up.
  2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the ziti pasta until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, add minced garlic, and sauté for about 1 minute. Add spinach and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine cooked ziti, sautéed spinach, marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, and half of the mozzarella. Stir until well-blended.
  5. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with olive oil. Layer half of the pasta mixture in the dish, followed by half of the Parmesan. Repeat with remaining mixture and top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
  6. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and continue baking for 15-20 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  7. Let the ziti cool for about 5-10 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh basil if desired.
