Ingredients
  

For the Garlic Yogurt Topping
  • 1 cup Greek Yogurt Can substitute with sour cream
  • 2 cloves Grated Garlic Fresh minced garlic can be used
  • 0.5 cup Lemon Juice Lime juice is an alternative
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste
For the Spiced Beef
  • 1 pound Ground Beef Can substitute with ground lamb or turkey
  • 1 medium Yellow Onion Can use shallots
  • 1 teaspoon Sweet Paprika Smoked paprika can be used
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Use fresh garlic if desired
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin Coriander can be a substitute
  • 2 tablespoons Tomato Paste Fresh tomatoes can also be used
For the Paprika Butter
  • 4 tablespoons Butter Can use olive oil
For the Pasta and Toppings
  • 12 ounces Cooked Pasta (fusilli, penne, or farfalle) Use preferred short pasta
  • 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes Any firm tomato can work
  • 0.5 cup Fresh Parsley Basil can be swapped
  • 0.5 cup Feta Cheese Can substitute with goat cheese

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, grated garlic, lemon juice, and salt. Stir until smooth, then set aside.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced yellow onion and sauté for 2-3 minutes until translucent.
  3. Sprinkle in sweet paprika, garlic powder, and cumin. Cook for another 2 minutes to toast spices.
  4. Add ground beef, breaking it apart. Cook for about 10 minutes until browned.
  5. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in tomato paste and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  6. In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Stir in sweet paprika and remove from heat once it bubbles.
  7. In a serving bowl, combine cooked pasta with spiced beef mixture. Top with garlic yogurt.
  8. Add halved cherry tomatoes, crumbled feta cheese, and chopped parsley. Serve warm.
